These terms apply to your use of ContractorMaths.co.uk (the “site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. ContractorMaths is operated as a sole-trader publication based in the UK. For any query email hello@contractormaths.co.uk.

The site is provided as-is

The calculators, comparisons, guides, and data on this site are provided for general informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep them accurate and up-to-date, see how we calculate, but we don't guarantee the site is free of errors, will always be available, or will meet your particular needs.

Not financial advice

Calculator outputs are estimates, not regulated financial advice. See the disclaimer for full detail. For decisions about your specific circumstances, speak to a qualified accountant or financial adviser.

Affiliate links

Some links on the site are affiliate links, they're clearly labelled with a “Partner link · paid recommendation”tag. If you sign up to a partner via one of these links, we may receive a commission. The price you pay is the same as if you arrived at the partner directly. Affiliate revenue funds the site; it doesn't change our recommendations or comparison results.

Acceptable use

You may use ContractorMaths for personal or business decision support. You may not:

• Scrape calculator outputs or page content at scale (an embeddable version of the calculators may be available on request, email us).
• Use automated tools that interfere with normal site operation (DDoS, brute-force, etc.).
• Republish substantial sections of the content without attribution and a link back.
• Misrepresent the site's origin or pretend to be us.

Intellectual property

The text, design, and code of ContractorMaths are owned by us (or used under licence). HMRC published rates and other government data are reproduced from public sources. You may quote short extracts of our prose with a clear link back. For anything more substantial, ask first.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by UK law, ContractorMaths and its operator accept no liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on the information it provides. Always verify a calculator result against your own records, your accountant, or HMRC before making a decision.

Privacy

Your privacy is covered by our separate privacy policy. In summary: we don't set cookies, we use privacy-preserving analytics, and we never sell or share data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
